Ain’t that the truth! Migue’s previous therapist would often remind her that a lot of our so-called issues can be traced back to one place: our relationships with our mothers. What her therapist was referring to was The Mother-Wound. This wound is a form of inter-generational complex trauma that is passed on from mother to child. Join us on Saturday, November 5th as we present a virtual TEDx talk on “Healing the Mother Wound”. Not only will you get to learn more about this wound, and ways to heal from it. You will also get to know a little bit more of how and why the Brujas of Brooklyn were birthed. 

Tickets are $25, and grants you an all-access pass to view the day’s virtual talks. The profits go to help fund the TEDx Deer Park chapter, based on Long Island. One of the few chapters run and led by women of color.
